Brad Berger, CFP®

Certified Financial Planner

Brad is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, and brings over two decades of Comprehensive Financial Planning experience to Cornerstone Financial Strategies LLC. Brad is one of only a few hundred Chartered Leadership Fellows from the American College. His education and training in the area of personal and business finance coupled with an extensive leadership background makes him an ideal candidate for what he believes is essential in today’s financial climate; coordinating and orchestrating the necessary members of the client’s Deliverables Team. While developing, implementing and coordinating the overall financial plan is Brad’s specialty, he also has special expertise in the area of retirement planning and distribution as an Ed Slott Master Elite IRA Advisor. Brad is also an active member of the Tacoma Estate Planning Council and serves as Chair of the KBTC Association Board, as well as, the Professional Advisors Board of the Greater Tacoma Community Foundation.

William Pickles, RFC®

Registered Financial Consultant®

Bill is a Registered Financial Consultant ® and has worked professionally in the wealth management and financial planning arena for over 20 years. He has advised individual and institutional clients regarding their investment portfolios while a Sr. Vice President with Eagle Asset Management and John Hancock Private Client Group. Prior to partnering with Cornerstone Financial Strategies LLC in 2007, Bill developed a financial planning practice at Lincoln Financial Advisors, providing clients with guidance and creative design ideas in the key areas of investment management, retirement income planning, risk management and estate and legacy planning. At Cornerstone, Bill’s specialties include financial plan design and eMoney 360 Pro integration as well as investment portfolio construction and monitoring. Bill is a graduate of the University of Florida with a B.S.B.A. – Finance in 1992, and a member of a Tacoma Rotary organization.

Michael Pickles, CFP®

Certified Financial Planner

Financial Planner Michael K. Pickles joined Cornerstone Financial Strategies LLC as a partner and co-owner in September 2012 bringing fifteen years of experience in the financial services industry to benefit the family of Prizm Financial clients.   Previously with Vanguard, one of the world’s largest mutual fund companies, Mike has served both retail and institutional clients during his career, most recently as the Senior Manager responsible for the $29 billion Institutional Recordkeeping Services group in Scottsdale, Arizona. Mike shares the team’s fundamental belief that putting the clients’ needs first is paramount, and he also believes strongly in Prizm Financial's values-based financial planning approach and the positive way it drives superior client service. Mike graduated from Arizona State University with a B.A. and M.B.A and is currently a Chartered Financial Consultant candidate at the American College.  Mike has been a long-time supporter of the United Way and was a founding member of Generation United, a program for inspired individuals interested in harnessing their talents for the greater good in the Phoenix Metropolitan area.
